Dr Han Wu is invited present at a joint conference of the 12th International Workshop of the Crystal Growth of Organic Material and the 47th Annual British Association of Crystal Growth Conference. Her presentation is entitled: "Polymorph screening and characterisation of Diastereomeric salt pairs," and is in honour of the late Prof. Alan Jones.

Han Wu is also presenting a tribute on behalf of UCL colleagues and friends at the Alan Jones Industrial Crystallization Symposium at CGOM/BACG.

She will use ARCHER supercomputer for 6 months to study behavior of biomolecules confined in ordered amorphous silica through all-atom molecular dynamic simulations with explicit water and counter-ions.The simulations will provide a better understanding of the interplay between the adsorbed proteins and mesoporous materials which is necessary to improve drug delivery systems by improving stability and controlled release of the active drug at the site of interest.
